Booking Conditions

Reservation - (private / sole charter)

• To confirm your charter we require a 25% deposit of the total charter costs

Balance -

• To be paid 14 days prior to commencement of charter

• If a reservation is made within 14 days of boarding full payment is required

Reservation - (share basis charter)

• On reserving a share charter 50% of share cost is required at time of reserving

• Balance to be paid 14 days prior to boarding

• If a reservation is made within 14 days of boarding full payment is required

Payment -

• Payment can be made by the following method

• Visa / Mastercard * Bank Draft * Telegraphic Bank Transfer

• If domiciled in New Zealand we also accept personal cheques and Bank Direct Credit

Weather & Mechanical Cancellation -

• If the captain has to cancel your charter due to weather that could compromise your safety you are given the opportunity of choosing another date or a full refund with the exception of any catering that may have been prepared at the time. It shall be the captain's decision at all times to cancel with regards to the weather, catering or mechanical problems for any refunds.

Catering Cancellation -

• 48 hours notice must be given to Blue Sea Charters for cancellation of catering for refunds

Charter Cancellation - private / sole charter

• The customer must give 14 days notice for refund of full deposit if cancelling the charter. Less than 14 days will result in the forfeit of deposit.

Share Basis Cancellation -

• 7 days notice must be given for any share basis cancellation. Cancelling within 7 days will result in the forfeit of deposit.
